I live in a very small town and farm land area. A month ago my male cat Lefty a very friendly cat that stays home got jumped on by a feral male and it scared him [enough] to hide. Something happened to him, and I have been walking around the area and talking to people and like no sign of him. Well I hvae been checking the Humane Society hoping and praying. Even put up a reward money for his return.
He has been sleeping by my head for 10 years now. He is a real furry friend. I have rescued about 12 others. Got them all fixed and I feed them all real good. Last month 2 boys got that UA problem. I paid the vet $650 last month. I live on a small disability check. I have a home with some land and it is like a little park. My cats love me and their home.
Well this lady put a picture up and it looked like Lefty, my missing friend. It had been almost a month. I called her and she sent me some pics on Facebook... I was like wow it is him... I went and got him and he lost so much weight and his fangs or teeth gone. He was like in shock and very scared but happy to see me. He was 30 miles from our home. The lady that saved him is a cat lover and a Chrisitan.
I was so depressed and prayed to God all the time hoping he would come home. I am feeding him some soft food and i believe my neighbor he works out in the area where the lady found my cat. He has a farm flat bed truck with some tools and sometimes a couple of bales of food on the back. I believe my cat got scared. We have coyotes and a big fox and she has young ones not far away.
I believe Lefty my cat was hiding on the back of the truck and was scared and maybe he jumped off somewhere on the road and when he hit the ground or something he knocked his teeth out. Or somebody hurt him for no reason. He seems OK but is very weak. Please ask people to check their vehicles out for unwanted passangers.. I do not think my cat took off on foot and went that far from his home he is a big baby.. I believe God answered my prayers ....thank You Lord for taking care of Lefty.
He was getting beat up by other cats and was starving. Life is not easy for humans or their pets...
I also met a wonderful Christian family that Lefty and I am so thankful that they took the time to help my cat and to report they found him...
I know you and your husband love animals like i do.
God bless!
James.
