Stan has finished his initial testing of the new data source for his seismic forecast maps. He is confident it will be as good as the Naval data he originally used to produce these maps. Because his new data source is of a much higher resolution than the original, it allows him to more accurately locate the likely quake epicenters.
We send our thanks to those who helped him find this new data source and the additional EQ reporting centers in Europe. He is especially thankful to the team who are supplying us with the new data. To avoid complicating their lives, he is withholding their names so they are not deluged with email or phone calls. |
